Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and, if you sign up with email, a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Google sign-in: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We request only the basic openid, email and profile permissions and do not access your Gmail, contacts, calendar or files.
• Profile & activity: information you add, such as skill level, location, play style, posts, and registrations for tournaments, leagues and club events (including the partner, phone number and notes you enter).
• Waivers: when an event requires a waiver, we keep the waiver text you agreed to, your typed signature and the date you signed.
• Shop & support: cart and order details, and messages you send through the Support form.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To manage registrations, waitlists and waivers, and share registrant lists with the organizers (club, league or tournament admins) of the events you join.
• To show community features such as posts and leaderboards.
• To respond to support requests and send essential account emails such as password resets.
• To provide AI Coach features — messages you type to the AI Coach are processed by our AI provider to generate replies.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Google account data for advertising. Google user data is used only to sign you in and display your name and photo in the app.

Sharing

We share information only with event organizers as described above, with service providers who host our app, database and email delivery on our behalf, or when required by law.

Storage & security

Your data is stored in a secured cloud database and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to administrative tools is restricted to authorized admins.

Your choices

You can update your profile at any time from your dashboard and cancel registrations you no longer need. To request a copy or deletion of your account data, or to disconnect Google sign-in, email us at [email protected]. You can also revoke our access from your Google Account’s security settings.

Children

Pickleball Odyssey is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
